Technology investment decisions, carried into practice.

I work with technology, product and transformation leaders when AI benefits are unclear, portfolio reviews no longer change priorities, or decisions fail to reach everyday practice. The work connects evidence, investment recommendations and implementation.

Describe the decision you’re facing

01

Technology and AI value assessment

For: Technology and engineering leaders considering AI adoption or further investment.

Decide whether to scale, change or stop an AI investment, and identify what evidence would change that decision.

Scope and approach

02

Portfolio and product operating models

For: Leaders whose portfolio reviews report progress without resolving priorities or accountability.

Decide which investments to continue, redirect or stop, and who owns the intended benefits.

Flow Observatory

Start with a delivery question.

A focused diagnostic examines a delivery question using your workflow and delivery history. We identify what the evidence supports, what needs further investigation and which change is worth testing.

How the work begins

  1. 01

    Clarify the decision.

An initial conversation identifies what is being decided, who is involved and when a decision is needed.

  2. 02

Agree the first piece of work.

Define the question, evidence required, participants, responsibilities and intended output. We review the question and available evidence with the sponsor, identify gaps and agree how findings will be discussed. Establish scope and fit before work begins.

  3. 03

    Carry the decision through.

Where useful, continue into implementation: responsibilities, working practices and a review of what changed.

Duration, data access and client participation are agreed during scoping.
